Really...

My copier doesn't work. That really sucks.

Anyways I  have nothing much to say today, but I felt like I should post something, so yeah.

Doing laundry.

Song of the Day:

I posted this already, last New Year's, but it's so amazing that I'm doing it again!

Seriously...

Okay, let the rant begin. Why is it that every time an overweight person, a homeless person, or someone who isn't particularly pretty auditions for competition shows (i.e. The X Factor or America's Got Talent, both stupid shows might I add) the judges and audience acts so shocked, I mean incredibly wowed by their talent? I don't watch these shows, but every so often a video will show up on Yahoo or Comcast that captions "Inspirational Video!!"  Let me tell you, it is not any more amazing to me to see a 400 pound person    sing any more than it does to see a 100 pound person sing! Last time I checked, one's level of beauty does not measure one's ability to sing, or dance, or oh I don't know, succeed!!! Geez. People are idiots.

Alright, on a lighter note, Song of the Day:

It was on How I Met Your Mother so obviously I'm putting it up here! Granted it was on when Ted and Robin break up, which is like the worst because, let's face it, we all secretly wanted her to be the "mother" Don't pretend you weren't wishing it too!

Bathroom Done...

I did it! I finished the bathroom! It only took me three weeks, but hey, I got it done! It is soooooo cute! Why should you trust me?? I have pictures!

The sink, with my Cranberry Harvest foam soap in honor of Fall!!

The shelves above the toilet with all my bath products lined up like a little boutique...and yes that box is filled with Lush products!

Little fleur de lis on every gray stripe!

My adorable pink ribbon flower towels!

Above the shower it says LE BAIN...

A closer look...

And the final product!

I am simply amazing.

Okay so Victoria and I are going on this fabulous trip to Ashland! We are staying in the cutest little bed and breakfast ever-the Historic Ashland Oregon Country Inn...the Ashland Mountain House!! It is so pretty...especially in the Fall...which is when we are going!!!! AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!

Okie dokie...Song of the Day:

Victoria and I love this song. However, we unfortunately discovered it in the movie Hope Springs.  DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!  If you do see it you will understand my warning and you will have my annoying "I told you so," ringing in your ear. What you think is a heart attack is not. And what you think is an invasion of personal space, apparently, is not! Beware people of a world where old people doing gross things is considered a romantic comedy...beware.

Geez...

Alright so when I made this blog I swore to myself that I would totally commit to it. I lied. I have, on several accounts, failed. So, in said case, I shall catch everything up.

Let's see...where did I leave off...Victoria-Utah, me-Western Oregon University, me-poor, blah, blah, blah...

Well...since my last post Victoria went to Utah, came back from Utah, I laughed, I cried, I became even more poor, I decided not to go to WOU, I moved back home, I got a job, I started painting the bathroom, I spent a large amount of money on candles that smell like bread, and have planned a fantastic trip to Ashland, where I will be meeting up with Victoria. Phew. If there were ever a time to quote Forrest Gump it would be now.

I am totally redoing our bathroom, which was brown...ugly tannish, brown...I am painting it gray and white stripes, with gold and pink accents...suck it HGTV. I will post pictures! Maybe. Give me a year. That's how long it should take me to take the pictures, load them into the computer, and put them up here. Hey. Don't judge.

Oh. I also got super obsessed with How I Met Your Mother. Which is awesome and sucky. Awesome because, well, it's an amazing show.  The perfect Kayla-Victoria TV series. Why is it sucky, you ask...Well because...Victoria had this friend, let's call her...Todd Packer...no that's not it...I know: a cross breed between Todd Packer and Stanley Hudson...Stanley Packer. Yes. Anyways, so she had this friend, Stanley Packer, who also loves How I Met Your Mother...not a big deal, right? Wrong. Now if Victoria were ever to watch this amazing creation all she would think about would be "No Stanley! Barack is President! You are black!"...Oops. I meant, all she would think about is all the things Stanley Packer had previously said about How I Met Your Mother and it would put a complete downer on the amazingly funny awesomeness of it. So now I watch it and think about how much she would love it and telepathically scream at Stanley Packer for being such a...a...TOBY FLENDERSON!!! There I said it. Can't take it back. Stanley Packer is a big, stupid, idiotic, TV show ruiner, Toby Flenderson.  I think that Michael Scott would understand. Okay. I'm done complaining. Maybe. Get back to me in about ten minutes.

Song of the day:

It was played during an episode of How I Met Your Mother and now I am required to buy the piano music for it. Oh, and in case Victoria is reading this right now, it was being played while Ted and a girl are dancing. Why is this important, you may be wondering...Well because. The girl is Emma, from Once Upon A Time. I hate Toby Flenderson. Toot-a-loo...

Well This Is Unfortunate...

Hello again...

Yes I realize that I haven't written anything in forever, but what can I say?! I have some other priorities...

Now I am very "melancholy" (learned it in middle school and I thought I would reminisce) My very dear, wonderful friend Victoria is going away to Utah in two weeks and I want to cry!!!! It is awful! And not to mention the gift I am making her is very depressing and makes me want to cry!!!! It is really bad! Now we lived without each other when I moved so I am not worried, but it still makes me want to cry...sigh...

So many things!!!

Wowza!! In the past week I have picked up Victoria in Ashland, Oregon, gone to Disneyland in LA, and moved out to start a job before school!!!  Rollercoaster of emotions is quite the understatement.  I promise to write a complete story on Disneyland, because it is a good one, but that shall wait for important photograph documentation.  Currently I am at Victoria's house and moving to my grandparents house and then switching to my other grandparents house whenever I am working...joy.  Well I am very much missing my family, but not trying to focus too much on it!  Until I get those Disneyland pictures...

So Long

Sooooo...

Yes I know, I know.  I have been M.I.A ever since well before Bones season seven ended...a long time.  However, I am determined to start up blogging again!!

So here's the sitch.  Victoria and I are venturing to Disneyland all by our lonesome in ten days!!!!!  What?! That's right I know you're jealous! So I am super jazzed for that.

I am also going to Sacramento tomorrow which will also kick butt! Lush here I come!!

Take a Chill Pill Booth...

Okay so I am watching Bones and there is a scene between Booth and Dr. Sweets.  Sweets is totally doing his job and does what he always does to Booth: analyze.  Well Booth has a total girl moment and at first it seemed quite normal,  in his joking manner, but then he had a total PMS flip out and looked like he was going to kill Sweets.  Watch your step Booth.

Any who, graduation is coming up and I am uber excited!!! Disneyland, here we come!!!!  That's right, Victoria and I are driving to Disneyland by ourselves!! Woohoo! I will finally be able to ride Dumbo!! That of which, by the way, I did not get to ride on when we went the first time because my family said that the line was too long...lame.

Okay song of the day...hmmmmm...

Suck it those who can't wait in line for Dumbo!

Oh Doris...

I am incredibly sorry for not posting since, well who knows when?!  I have been busy with other things...sometimes blogging is one of those things that just seems to be a lot of work.

Anyways...I am supposed to drive to Oregon to see Victoria tomorrow, but the freaking weather is screwing that up!  It is in record highs all over the US except the North West!  So if Mother Nature decides to screw me over tomorrow, I will cry.

All the while I am getting ready just in case.  I have packed more than enough clothes and many accessories, ooh I just remembered that I have to pack shoes!  I have map-quested and I am currently trying to find some road trip music.  Drum roll...I am so far going with Ms. Doris Day!  48 songs for 5.99 sounds like a good deal to me!

Let's talk Bones.  Baby Booth/Bones( seriously?! Just get married for heaven's sake!) is going to arrive very soon!!!!  I cannot wait until the episode airs!

The Office...goodbye Robert California, no one likes your ugly face!

Hmm what else?

Aah, Song of the Day:

I absolutely adore Tangled!

I Will Bear Three Girls, All With Strawberry Curls...

Have you ever listened a song that makes you think: Oh if only my life was like that...?  Well unfortunately I have currently experienced this.  So with that said, here is today's Song of the Day:

The part that I long for is the very beginning as a lobster man's wife with three girls with strawberry curls.  The strawberry curls thing has always been a wish of mine, but unfortunately I am Asian, tan, and dark haired so the chances of having kids with strawberry hair is very unlikely...

Oh well, Ta ta for now...

Dwight's Rights...

To begin I would just like to say that this is probably the first time in a long while that I found The Office hilarious.  Let's just admit it people, ever since Steve Carrell left, The Office just isn't that funny.  It's sad, but true...

Second off, if you didn't already know that the baby was Dwight's, well...I don't even know what to say,  grow a brain, I guess?

Any who, I am highly anticipating Sunday.  Why, you may ask, well because people...it can only be one thing, Downton Abbey! Woooohoooo!!

Okay, nothing exciting for today I guess, so see you all...

In honor of my true heroes...

Things In Heaven...

I had a thought the other day and while most of my thoughts are consumed with Downton Abbey currently, this thought was a tad different...

So without further ado:

Things That Better Be In Heaven When I Get There
  1. Michael Buble, David Boreanaz, John Krasinski, etc....all minus wives
  2. An endless amount of Downton Abbey where William suddenly comes back to life and Daisy loves him.
  3. Shoes...free, designer, beautiful shoes.
  4. No leg or armpit hair.
  5. No Aunt Flo...Ladies, you know what I'm talking about.
  6. Martha Stewart
  7. Glitter
  8. Rain Wilson in the role of Dwight Shrute, along with John Krasinski as Jim, following me around everywhere.
  9. Add Steve Carrell to #8
  10. Gilmore Girls picked up from season 3, maybe 4, done way better and Lorelai ends up preggers with Luke and Rory marries Jess, who isn't a jerk.
  11. Did I say a never ending Downton Abbey already?
  12. An Office that still has Steve Carrell in it.
  13. Lush.
  14. Dr. Phil...I won't try to explain...
  15. More Downton Abbey
So there you have it...and if none of these things appear when I die, I will be thoroughly disappointed.

Song of the Day:

What can I say? I am obsessed!

Skype With One Victoria Gariepy...

I am currently writing a post about Victoria Gariepy while Skyping with Victoria Gariepy...what the heck, I am awesome.

Now while I should probably be writing my English paper about repression(fun, right? No.)  I would much rather talk to my best friend in the whole entire world. Slacker, procrastinator, time-waster?  No.  I am just completely devoted to the coolest person in the world!

I am also speaking to Max...Victoria's brother, which makes him automatically awesome...besides the fact that he is an extremely cute baby...

Okay, I have nothing left to say and have lost interest in typing so therefore,

British Accents, Boys, & Downton Abbey...

Let me begin by telling you all that my good friend Victoria has turned me onto watching Downton Abbey.  It is amazing.  Now considering I take TV very seriously says a lot.

Next I must say that boys are...well...let's face it, great!

Finally when one combines the Downton Abbey with boys the result is boys with British accents.  Must I explain?

Any guy with a British accent has at least a smidgen of hotness, simply because of the accent.  Now Victoria had quite a good example of this:  if a really nerdy guy was from America he probably wouldn't be very attractive, but stick a British accent on him and he's suddenly kind of hot...

Anyways that is all I have to say today...

Redbox...

I absolutely love Redbox.  The ability to rent movies for a dollar is kind of awesome.  The problem?  I always end up renting the maximum amount of movies allowed- 3 or 5 depending upon your member status- which leads me to the epitome of my rant:  No one has time to watch three movies in one night!  Now most of you would say, "Why not watch some during the day?", well, because, watching movies during the day is simply not the same as watching them at night.  So anyways, I choose three movies, those of which I have been wanting to watch equally, leaving me at least six hours of movie watching to do.  Now unless I stay up until three in the morning I couldn't possibly watch all three!  So in my current rut I have come up with two solutions: 1. I could choose only one or two movies that seem appealing and leave the rest for my brothers or, 2. Redbox should give dollar rentals for two nights!  Is this so difficult I ask!  I think that in doing so Redbox would get even more renters...

Aaahhh the difficulties of wasting time...

goodbye,

Hey, give it a chance...
